I just capped 7 days of waiting to fix a problem that was resolved under 5 minutes.

It started with following directions in out-dated documentation. Miffed by why the solution wasn’t working, I scoured the net for help. I must have tried out a dozen suggestions before resorting to calling tech support (fortunately, I’m a paid subscriber).

After sending emails back and forth between support tiers, them prematurely declaring my case resolved, and getting pushed to the verge snapping at someone I finally got on a video chat with some subject matter expert.

It took under 5 minutes for him to resolve the issue which had been holding me back for a week already.

And here I am, both mad and glad at the same time.
